Corrolytics, a test kit for detecting and monitoring microbial corrosion created for the oil and gas industries, will attend and exhibit at the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Annual Conference + Expo, the largest tradeshow in the corrosion and coatings industry.
The event, which involves technical symposia, forums, workshops, standards and administrative meetings, student poster sessions, networking and more, will take place from March 19-23 in Denver, Colorado.
“We’re thrilled to attend AMPP for our second year and be surrounded by the industry’s best and brightest,” said Anwar Sadek, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Corrolytics. “We’re excited and ready to tell the world about Corrolytics, the first and only of its kind product, and this conference is the perfect setting to do that in.”
The cost of corrosion causes $13.4 billion annually in damages to oil and gas assets. Corrolytics is a SMART test kit that provides on-site and accurate information to its users to precisely differentiate between microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) and other types of corrosion. The comprehensive solution that is designed to disrupt the industry and provide a better way for corrosion engineers and pipeline operators to determine when microbial growth within a pipeline will lead to corrosion.
As the world’s largest corrosion and coatings conference and exposition, AMPP Annual Conference + Expo brings together 6,000+ decision makers and industry professionals from 60 countries.
